  • New LPU Commander for the Harborough District

    31/10/2013
Inspector Durrant joined Leicestershire Police in September 2000 and was posted to Market Harborough. He is an experienced officer and since that time has worked in several roles within the Force and also a secondment to a partner agency.

Inspector Durrant said: "I was extremely pleased to be offered the opportunity to take over at the LPU, a challenge I shall relish. It is clear to me that there is a very strong foundation of working with our partners and the community and I look forward to building on this and leading the LPU forwards.

"I want to deliver a service to you which meets your expectations and is informed by you telling us what matters most to you. We have excellent relationships with our partner agencies and will seek to resolve the issues you identify. Those who decide to commit crime or behave in an anti-social fashion can expect to be dealt with swiftly and robustly."

Inspector Durrant is married and lives in the Harborough area. His hobbies include running, playing the guitar and shooting.
