    Dear Members,

    You may have seen on our Police website and Social media accounts a number of news articles across Leicestershire relating to theft of dogs and attempted thefts.

    We are asking dog owners to ensure that your property and any outside space you may have is secure.

    Do not leave your dog unsupervised in gardens, outside shops or in vehicles.

    Make sure your dog is microchipped and the details are up to date.

    Contact us with any suspicious incidents along with descriptions and registration numbers you may have. You can do this by calling 101 or report online via https://www.leics.police.uk/ Click on REPORT. In an emergency call 999.
