Tickets issued for Breaching Corona Virus legislation

Hi everyone

We continue to respond to calls regarding breaches of Covid regulations, particularly aspects around visitors to homes and gatherings/parties.

On Friday evening officers attended an address on Beaconsfield Road and issued x6 Tickets to individuals that were socialising at an address. This is one example of reports that we receive locally.

If you are aware of premises allowing visitors or having parties etc, please where possible be specific regarding location and numbers. You can report matters via 101 or online via Leicestershire Police website. Incidents are logged and prioritised depending on the demands at that time, so in certain cases please be patient.

We also conduct visits to addresses regarding quarantine checks to make sure that those who have recently travelled are complying with the restrictions.
