Dear resident,

Thank you for completing our recent survey about priorities for policing in your local area. We had an excellent response. Your feedback has helped us identify particular areas of focus on this beat.

One of the biggest issues that you have informed us about is the concern that drug dealing is taking place in the area
In order to address this, yesterday officers from Beaumont Leys Beat team and Neighbourhood Priority Team conducted a Drugs Warrant at an address on Butterwick Drive.

An amount of what is “believed” to be class “A” drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia were seized and an investigation has commenced.

What you have told us has helped shape our priorities for this beat and information received from the community helped to obtain the search warrant from the magistrates Court. My colleagues and I will keep you up-to-date on our progress and I want to thank those who supplied the information.
With the help of you all we can make the Beaumont leys a better place to live.
