Bikes Donated to Local Youth Club

Leicestershire Police have donated four bikes to The Venue Youth Centre in Melton Mowbray.

Organised by Melton PCSO Jake Spruce with Youth & Community Worker Joe Roughton. The bikes are those that the force has recovered and the owner has not claimed.

The bikes would have otherwise of been recycled for their scrap metal. They need a little TLC, but it’s great to see them go to a new home and they’ll make a great little lockdown project for some young people in Melton.

Anti-Social Behaviour is one of the priorities for the Town North Beat Team and working closely with the local youth centre is a big part of proactively preventing ASB.
