Stolen vehicles - defrosting

Hi all,

Happy new year. Unfortunately, this time of year brings ice and frosty conditions and with it the temptation to leave your vehicles engines running unsupervised to warm up and defrost the vehicle.

Please remain with your vehicle as we see an increase in stolen vehicles at this time of year and have already suffered four such crimes across West Leicester in the last three weeks.

Further social media messages will be released by Leicestershire police over the coming weeks.
