Suspicious male in the area

Good evening to you,

Just to make you all aware, this evening there has been a suspicious male in the area of Tetuan Road. He has been knocking on doors and saying to residents who have opened the door to him that his central heating is broken or he needs help it is a life threatening situation. He may be in company with someone else. It is believed that he is trying to get people to come out of their houses. Male seemed to be knocking on the door of elderly residents.

Male described as West Indian, mid 30s, 5ft10 in height, untidy black curly hair, dark coloured scarf over his mouth and wearing a brown jacket.

If you see someone of this description in the area who looks to be acting suspiciously and doing any of the above, please report this in to us via 101 or 999.
