Hare Coursers Arrested

Following a report from a local resident, Sgt Ryecroft and PC Sanders from your local response team, with assistance from the Melton and Rutland neighbourhood teams have caught five men hare coursing on Sandy Lane, Melton.

All five have been arrested, their vehicle has been seized and they have been issued tickets for breaching Covid regulations (to add insult to injury). They will be interviewed and dealt with this evening.

All five were from out of the area and hopefully this will pass a message to them about coming into Melton and Rutland to commit crime
