Hi all,

We are writing to update the local community of Humberstone, Hamilton and Netherhall with some of the action the local police beat team have taken recently in response to local concerns and priorities the community have raised to us.

One of the main areas of concern raised relates to drug dealing and potential cannabis cultivations. Consequently having received substantial intelligence about these issues, our team have now completed three search warrants on our area over the last two months at addresses on Fencote Road, Arncliffe Road and Abbots Road South. These warrants led to quantities of drugs being seized, and a number of individuals have been dealt with as a result.

We have also received regular complaints regarding anti-social behaviour, and in particular this includes people breaching the Government COVID regulations. We have made numerous visits around the local area, engaging with residents, explaining the regulations, and encouraging them to abide by the rules in the hope of reducing coronavirus transmissions in our area.
