  • Stathern: Damage at the park

    Alert message sent 18/10/2020 17:44:00

Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

    Dear Residents

Unfortunately we have been notified of damage at the play park where the goal post has been dismantled and the net damaged. The incident took place between 17:00 and 23:00 17/10/2020, where a group of young people were also seen drinking in the park. If you recall seeing any one use and damage the equipment please reply to this message.

If you are aware of anyone that frequents the area in the evenings please speak to them and ask if they are aware of who could be involved and get in touch quoting crime reference 2*549414 or reply to this message.

The reporting of criminal damage in Stathern is low. Looking back for the last 500 days there has been 4 occasions of criminal damage. This has included damage to the community library in June 2019, 2 occasions of damage to a woodland education site over the summer period and an attempt damage to a police vehicle while the suspect was under arrest for drink driving in March this year.

We aim to increase our patrols in the area.

    Kind Regards

    PCSO Claire Gray 6541
