Information sent on behalf of Leicestershire Police

There has been a recent spate (Yesterday) of Theft From Motor Vehicles in the area of Glen Pava and the Eyres Monsell. A Silver or Grey Colour vehicle was seen to be connected with these thefts and about 3-4 males connected wearing black clothing and face covered.

Please remain vigilant and something so simple by taking out your belongings can make a big difference. If you own a van and have tools please think about fitting independent dead locks and reverse close to a wall (if possible) to prevent someone trying to break in.

There are also remote sensors you can purchase to alert you whilst your away from your vehicle if someone breaks in. I will have a look further on these products and let you know.

Please call us if you see anything suspicious or if a theft is in progress. See attached leaflet and pass on to anyone who has a van.
    Stay safe, Thank you
