Red Telephone Kiosks - Thieves looking very official, dressed as workmen, are touring neighbouring areas trying to steal red telephone kiosks. If you have one in your area, please try to monitor it and get close neighbours involved too. Two vehicles associated with these individuals are a small white VW van and a white Ford Transit. The Transit’s rear is painted with red and white stripes, like Highway maintenance vehicles. Both are on 60 plates. They were recently seen with a pneumatic drill and were trying to excavate the box from its surroundings. If you see anyone ‘working on a telephone box’ please call 999.
