    Good Afternoon

    Here is the Crime Update for week ending 14th February 2018.  If after reading this update there is anything you would like to notify Leicestershire Police about please make contact via Neighbourhood Link.

    Burglary – dwelling

    February 10th (23:00) – February 11th (08:30): Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray – wooden shed broken into by having padlock forced off.  Property was stolen.

    Vehicle Crime

    February 10th (19:00) – February 11th (07:15): Sandy Lane, Melton Mowbray – vehicle that was parked on a driveway was broken into and items removed.

    February 10th (21:00) – February 11th (09:00): Sussex Avenue, Melton Mowbray - vehicle that was parked on a driveway was broken into and items removed.

    February 10th (22:00) – February 11th (11:00): Middle Street, Croxton Kerrial – near side wing mirror snapped off vehicle.

    February 13th (00:02): Brook Street, Melton Mowbray – vehicle parked on street was broken into and tools taken.

    Theft

    February 2nd (18:00) – February 7th (13:30): New Causeway, Barkestone le Vale – pony cart stolen from an open barn shelter.

    February 7th (13:20 -13:34): Wilton Road, Melton Mowbray – male enters retail premises and steals various tools by placing them in a pram.

    February 9th (06:45): Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray - fuel stolen from a petrol station by filling cans with fuel and then driving off without making payment.

    February 9th (21:42): Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray – male enters a retail premises takes unknown items and leaves without paying.

    February 10th (11:00 – 11:40): Leicester Road, Melton Mowbray – male enters retail premises, selects a bottle of wine and leaves without paying.

    February 11th (15:50): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – unknown suspect enters a retail premises selects a beef joint and leaves without paying.

    February 13th (13:00): Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray – a group of youths rip phones from the display of a retail premises and leave with them.

     

    Criminal Damage

    February 11th (01:16 – 01:18): Stirling Road, Melton Mowbray – concrete bricks used to smash windows in the hallway of a property.

    February 11th (18:00 – 18:10): Market Place, Melton Mowbray – male throws an ashtray through a pub window.

    February 11th (19:35): Sherrard Street, Melton Mowbray – unknown youth’s damage a sign that belongs to a retail premises.

    February 13th (00:38): Sage Cross Street, Melton Mowbray – drunk male damages signs at a retail premises.
