Additional Beat Updates
Oakham & Barleythorpe – Recently we have been receiving reports of people driving around local car parks in an anti-social manner. It is our intention to identify the drivers and initially try and distract them away from this type of activity. If this doesn't work we will be using policing powers to warn and then potentially seize vehicles which continue to drive/ride in an anti-social manner. PC Joe Lloyd.
Uppingham – A rise in ASB on the skate park has recently been bought to the attention of the local beat team by concerned residents. This appears to be an issue centred around one ring leader who is causing the majority of the issues; including littering and aggressive behaviour to other park users. This individual has been identified and the beat team have made contact with them, and will work with partner agencies to tackle the issue head on and prevent further problems developing. PC Josh Ace
